December 1, 2022

After two quiet years, 2022 was busy. I want to thank all the libraries that invited me out to share stories of hauntings and unexplained events in Michigan's past. I had a great time.

I really enjoyed meeting all the folks who came out to hear me speak at the Mid-Michigan Paranormal Convention. I was great chatting with many of you. I will say my presentation was a bit more challenging than others when the technical connections failed. That was the first time that happened. In spite of that, I continued with the presentation without visual. Perhaps less impactful BUT and I was happy so many of you turned out and stayed to the end.

PRESENTATION SCHEDULE - 2023

Contact Kat if you would like to have her speak at your library, conference, or group activity.

We are already receiving presentation requests from libraries. It looks like 2023 may be a very busy year. Check the main page of our website, to see what's already scheduled.

*** If you'd like me to give a presentation at your library, group or other event, email: haunted@mivg.com or contact me at 586-260-5305.

NEW BOOK COMING

We are very excited to announce a new book is iin the works. Research is on-the-way for a fifth book. This one will focus on abandoned places in Michigan with a haunted past. I have 3 great stories so far. However, we need MORE great locations.

I also had a fantastic time speaking at Harper Woods Junior High School. For that, I spoke a bit about myself, what ti's like to be an author, and even put in a few ghostly tidbits. I would love to do more engagements like this.

I also enjoyed speaking at the historic Blue House and want to thank the Livonia Ghost Hunters for having me out.

The story of the Dark Things recounts Kat's experience. In the 1970's, for a college psych project, she was assigned to a psychiatric patient at Eloise Mental Hospital in Westland. Her assignment was to become friendly with the patient and observe changes, if any, over the course of their treatment. HAUNTED WEEKEND ON MACKINAC ISLAND - Sept. 23-25 ... THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who came to our 2016 Haunted Weekend on Mackinac Island! What a great time we had. The weather held up. In fact, it was a beautiful, cool, sunny weekend. Our day time investigation at Devi's Kitchen and the investigation of Frances Lacey's last known location went smoothly.

The Ghastly Mackinac Tour and investigation of Fort Mackinac produced some very interesting results! The barracks and prison had several very response EMF hits.

Room 2200 at the Straits Lodge was also crazy. One member of the group, during a session in the room, felt a sudden hot, burning sensation on the back of her neck. We pulled back the shirt a little to see a rather large burn mark that had what looked to be a handprint.

Later that night, in the main public sitting room of the lodge, we received a possible communication from a passed mother from two of our guests.

It will take time to review the audio (hours and hours of audio). We'll keep our guests posted on results in the upcoming months.

It will take awhile to go through the hours and

STILL TO COME: I
... Oct. 22, Wolcott Mill Investigation
... Oct. 25, Clarkston Public Library Presentation
... Oct. 28-30, A Haunted Hall-O-Weekend in Marshall Michgain

HAPPY OCTOBER EVERYONE!
